The
Assoication for Social Development was ushered with the drawn
in the year 1989-90 by a group of professional, engineers, Social
Scientist and Information Technologist with the objective of
all round development in rural as well as in urban areas and
impart training to Schedule Caste & Weaker Section society
especially to slums dwellers of rural youths for their upliftment
and become a good citizen.
The Management Committee Governing Body of the institute has
voluntary services of a highly qualified group of engineers,
professional and social workers. Some senior professors, scientists,
ex-service personnel, social scientists and information scientists
are actively involved with the regular activities of this institute.
Some important programmes carried out during the past three
years. The main achievements of the association during this
period is enumerated below:
• Dissemination of information on rural technology which
can be useful for the overall development of rural communities.
This society is well equipped with literature and information
about large number of technologies for fulfillment of its
